Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs every year from October 15 through December 7. It is the main yearly window to change how you get your Medicare coverage, and changes you make take effect January 1.
During Annual Enrollment you can:
Plans can change their premiums, drug lists, provider networks, and benefits every year. That is why a yearly check-up is worthwhile even if you are happy with your plan.
Call 435-590-0910 or pick a time online. A review takes about 30 minutes, and there is no cost.
We look at plans available in your area from the carriers we represent, checking your doctors, prescriptions, and costs. We do not offer every plan available, and we will point you to Medicare.gov or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for the full picture.
No pressure and no obligation. If you want to make a change, we help you enroll before December 7 and stay available throughout the year.
If you are already in a Medicare Advantage plan, there is another chance to make a change from January 1 through March 31. During that period you can switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan or return to Original Medicare (and join a stand-alone Part D plan). You cannot join a Medicare Advantage plan from Original Medicare during this window. Rules apply, so ask us before assuming it fits your situation.
Your Initial Enrollment Period is a separate 7-month window around your 65th birthday. Read our Medicare & Health overview for the basics of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and ACA plans, or our guide to the top 10 Medicare questions for Utah residents.

No. Our consultations are free, and agent compensation is paid by the insurance carriers, not by you. You pay the same plan premium whether you enroll directly or through an agent.
Medicare Supplement plans aren't tied to Annual Enrollment, but switching is not always guaranteed. In many cases a new Medigap plan may ask health questions (underwriting). We'll walk you through your options before you decide.
Not exactly. Your Initial Enrollment Period is a separate 7-month window around your 65th birthday. See our Medicare overview for how that works, or call us and we'll point you to the right timeline.
